To enter the convention and enjoy it to the fullest, you must purchase a convention badge. Your badge enables you to see everything around the convention and identifies you as part of AMKE.

Look for the Pre-Registration line if picking up your badges onsite!

A note on Single Day Badge Pick-Up:

Single day badges can ONLY be collected on the day that the badge is valid. The exception is for Friday badges which can also be picked up on Thursday. While pre-registration is available, single day badge pick-up is still limited to the day of attendance and cannot be collected in advance. Single day badges also do not qualify for badge mailing. Thank you for your understanding.

AMKE registration is located in Grand Ballroom A&B in the South Building of the Baird Center, on the first floor.

Directions: Enter the main rotunda at N. Vel R. Phillips Ave. and W. Wisconsin Ave and make a right. Registration will be the first room on the left.

Registration Hours (Hours subject to change)

  • Thursday: 12:00 Noon to 10 PM (pre-registration badge pick-up only)

  • Friday: 9 AM to 9 PM

  • Saturday: 9 AM to 9 PM

  • Sunday: 9 AM to 1 PM

Chibi (Children) Badges

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Chaperone badges do not grant access to adult programming or dances, it’s solely for events children are able to attend.

Group Badges: Accessible only through our registration site, pre-convention. The minimum purchase is 15. Save your group some $$ by registering together!

Pro Tips from AMKE:

Skip a line, save some time!

Did you forget to pre-register for Anime Milwaukee? Have no fear! If you have a smartphone or tablet, you can access the Anime Milwaukee website when you arrive at the convention. Order your weekend badge online via our registration site. You can skip the pay stations and go straight to the badge pickup line.

Group registration are not available at the door. Eligible groups must have submitted their group registration before the pre-registration cutoff date and been confirmed by the Registration team. Have questions? Contact the registration team for group badge sales.

+ Does Anime Milwaukee Offer Badge Mailing?

  • Yes.
  • Orders that do not choose the mailing option can still pick up their badge at the convention. We have extended our Thursday registration hours to begin at Noon and run until 10 PM.
  • Single day badges do not qualify for badge mailing. They will need to be picked up in Registration on the day it is valid.
  • Orders after February 1st will not have a mailing option. Badges will have to be picked up in Registration during their open hours.

+ Can I add badge mailing to my existing order?

  • The badge mailing option must be added at the time of order, we are unable to add the badge mailing option after you have completed the order.

+ When are badges mailed out?

  • Full Weekend, VIP, and Chaperone/Chibi badges that added and paid for the mailing option during their order will have their badges mailed out at a later date closer to the event (mid-February). We will provide an update when we have a specific mailing date confirmed.

+ What is your Refund Policy?

  • Once a badge has been purchased it is non-refundable, but we do allow the transfer of badge ownership to any individual of the original purchasers choosing. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding in this policy.
  • We do understand that sometimes guests cancel and that is usually out of our control. We cannot provide a refund for any badge(s) purchased if a guest cancels their appearance.

+ How do I update my mailing address?

  • If you have selected the mailing option for your order, you can edit your mailing address after you login to your Eventeny account under Edit Responses. This must be done before the mailing deadline.

+ Can I transfer my badge?

+ What payment methods are accepted onsite at Registration?

  • Onsite registration accepts credit/debit cards and tap to pay, including Apple and Google Pay.
  • No cash or checks will be accepted onsite.

VIP FAQs

+ Does VIP have any special lines or privileges during the general AMKE autograph sessions?

  • Members with a VIP badge tier will be able to skip the line once per guest (if available for that guest). There will no longer be a private VIP signing block. Badges will be marked once you have used your skip the line benefit for an individual guest. You may not transfer a skip the line benefit from one guest’s line to another, in order to ensure fairness for everyone.
